Highlights from the exciting new event to kick off the 3rd Annual Furry Friends Film Festival in downtown Hendersonville, which once again benefits the Blue Ridge Humane Society. The first annual Barq in the Parq raised money for Blue Ridge Humane Society, Brother Wolf, and Charlie’s Angels — all of which care for homeless animals – and increased awareness of their mission. The event, held on May 17, 2014, was organized by WTZQ AM 1600 in Hendersonville. The Blue Ridge Humane Society of Henderson County, North Carolina, held a fashion show luncheon at the Hendersonville Country Club on March 11, 2014, to raise money for its spay/neuter program.
