Meet Boston!
Today’s Featured Friday Pet is Boston!
Chunky-faced Boston is a a cat with (quite literally a lot of) head and heart. Quiet, noble and dignified, we imagine that in a past life, Boston was a brilliant and sensitive poet that spent a lot of time in dimly lit drinking establishments. His quiet and slightly rough exterior belies a truly lovely personality – gentle, a bit shy, and very loving. This 4 year old double-stuffed face cat never makes much of a peep, but don’t think it’s because he’s not thinking big thoughts. There’s a lot of soul behind those bright green eyes, and we’re pretty sure the term “still waters run deep” was coined just for him.
Boston has been with us for almost two months and we have no idea why. It’s hard being an adult black cat in a shelter this time of year, watching all those pesky kittens fly off the shelves straight into their new homes. Just pretend Boston is a kitten, shall we, a very large kitten that won’t keep you awake all night trying to eat your toes. Other cats don’t seem to faze him much and he should get along fine with a proper introduction. He loves to weave against your legs in greeting and to have you scratch those beefy cheeks of his. That, and a cozy spot to contemplate life in is pretty much all this beautiful boy wants. Doesn’t someone have a mini Panther sized hole in their heart in need of filling?
Since Boston has been with us over two weeks, his adoption fee is discounted! It would make our week if someone took the time to get to know this sweet guy. Please consider stopping in to meet him today!
