Meet Eugene!

Today’s Featured Pet is Eugene!

If you’re looking for a certified couch potato, porch sitting, tummy rub loving dog AKA your next new best friend… Eugene is the dog for you! This happy boy was originally found as a stray and came to us in pretty rough condition but he is getting some much needed TLC from staff and his foster home. Eugene foster has this to say about him:

“Eugene has a delightful, laid back personality and is satisfied to just hang out with humans. He likes to nap on the living room carpet while we watch TV or read and really isn’t an “in your face” type of dog so he would make a great companion for any family. He also does well when he meets a dog in the neighborhood and really enjoys his walks at the park.”

Among his other joys in life are riding shot gun in your car and breakfast/dinner time are almost a holiday for this foody! Eugene has met various other dogs while in foster care as well as people of all ages and they all become his new best friend.

Right now, he is living it up in a foster home but we would really love to find his “person” and have him continue to blossom with a new family. If you’re interested in adopting Eugene, consider filling out an application so that a counselor can call you and go over the next steps!
