Hurricaine Donation Match

Hurricane Helene tore through our region on September 27th, leaving a wake of destruction, devastation and despair. Since then, Blue Ridge Humane Society has worked to secure the safety of our animals by placing them in foster homes and on transports to other shelters and we are currently serving hundreds of neighbors and their pets with free pet food and supply distributions from our warehouse.

Unfortunately, our Thrift Store has remained closed and we are without are largest source of funds that allow our organization to carry out its mission. We are looking to match two generous gifts from individual donors for a fundraising total of $22,500. These funds will supplement these losses and ensure that we can allocate funding to our programs and services efficiently to ensure we can continue to support the pets and pet owners in our community amid the staggering recovery from Helene that lies ahead.
