Month Long Tip the Community at Sideways Farm and Brewery
Sideways Farm and Brewery, located in Etowah, NC will be donating their July tips to Blue Ridge Humane as part of their Tip the Community initiative. In person or online sales tips will be collected and donated to support the mission of Blue Ridge Humane.
Owned by Jon and Carrieann Schneider, Sideways grows ingredients for the beer that is brewed and bottled on site. The taproom is open Friday: 4-8, Saturday: 12-8, and Sunday: 12-6, with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.
A special kickoff for the month will be held on Friday, July 3rd with a special limited release of La Pêche Sauvage (The Wild Peach in French), a delightful blonde ale aged 9 months on South Carolina peaches with mixed yeast cultures, including brettanomyces, then aged 5 months in bottle before this Friday’s release. 5.9% ABV. Only 40 bottles will be sold for $25 a bottle with $5 from each going to Blue Ridge Humane Society. 10% of food sales from Pig in a Blanket BBQ will also be donated to BRHS for the evening.
