Shelter Renovation Update As the Blue Ridge Humane Society undergoes renovation, our facility will be closed. Demolition began the first week of October and we hope to reopen in January after the New Year. Need to Surrender a Pet/Stray: While we are closed we will not be able to accept any animals. If you have a stray, or need to re-home an animal, please call the Henderson County Shelter at 697-4723 or visit them at 828 Stoney Mountain Road.

Interested in Fostering an Animal: While we are closed, we will in need of foster homes for dogs and cats. If you are able to provide a safe space for a dog or cat during our renovation process please contact us at
