Special Sale at Thrift Stores to Help BRHS Animal Shelter

The Blue Ridge Humane Society Thrift Stores announce a special sale for Saturday, August 24th. This Saturday in both BRHS Thrift Stores you can participate in the “You Help Us, We’ll Help You Sale.†This is the time of year when most shelters, including ours in Edneyville, have a large number of cats and kittens up for adoption. And that means that the shelter goes through a great deal of kitty litter. So if ‘you help us’ by bringing in some kitty litter, ‘we’ll help you’ by giving you a coupon for significant savings in our thrift stores. For each bag of kitty litter that is fifteen pounds or larger, you will get a coupon for 50% off one item. For example, if you bring us three bags of kitty litter you will receive three 50% off coupons each good for one item. (Generic unscented clay kitty litter is fine.) These coupons will be good for Saturday, August 24th only, but can be used in either BRHS Thrift Store. The Thrift Store located at 1214 Greenville Highway is open from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The Thrift Store located at 1034 Greenville Highway is open from 10am to 4pm. The Blue Ridge Humane Society is a 501(c)-3 nonprofit animal welfare organization.  The two thrift stores are the number one source of revenue for the animals awaiting adoption in our shelter.  Both Blue Ridge Humane Society Thrift Stores sell gently-used donated items.  For more information or to schedule a free pickup of your donations please call 692-3503.
